I ordered this collagen powder for my little Shiba Inu for the first time, and I have to say, I am absolutely thrilled! She always comes running when she sees the powder because she loves the taste when it’s mixed into her food.
We have had no issues at all, so it’s definitely a 10/10. Plus, it looks very high-quality! From our side, it’s a clear recommendation!
My dog LOVES it! And she can be a very picky eater, but this was a love at first sight. As she is a very active dachshund, her joint flexibility is of great importance to us. Our vet said the ingredients are excellent. Her coat is already getting shinier. I am super happy and thankful we have finally found an amazing collagen supplement for our dog! We also add it when making home-made treats with Greek yoghurt! Healthy dog – happy life!!
Before purchasing Dr. Flex Premium Collagen Powder, I consulted my vet to make sure it was a good choice for my dog. The well-balanced formula, with bovine and marine collagen plus essential vitamins like B1, B2, B3, B5, and B6, seemed perfect for supporting his joints, coat, and digestion. It’s easy to mix into his food, and he doesn’t even notice it. After a few weeks, I can already see improvements—he moves more easily, and his coat looks shinier. I’m really happy with this product and highly recommend it to other dog owners! 🐶💙
The powder is very fine and can easily be added to the food.
My dog is very active and runs a lot, which puts strain on his joints. As a preventive measure, I decided to give him the collagen powder to help prevent health issues.
He tolerates it well, but I cannot yet assess its effectiveness since, as mentioned, I am giving it to him as a preventive measure to support joint mobility and elasticity.
As part of the Amazon Vine program, I was given the opportunity to try and review this product. In my reviews, I share my honest experiences and assessments or provide usage tips for other users, possibly including suggestions for product improvements.
The powder has a fine, grainy texture. When sprinkled over food, my dog has no problem with it. He drinks a good amount of water afterward. The container is filled to a little more than 3/4, which could be more environmentally friendly if adjusted to the actual quantity. Alternatively, a larger quantity of product could be provided to better fit the container size. I would also appreciate the addition of green-lipped mussel extract.
The dosage instructions on the container are insufficient. I had to check the product description online for clarification.
Does this supplement actually help my dog? Honestly, I can’t really say. Even after some time, I haven’t noticed a significant improvement. However, it certainly hasn’t made things worse. Perhaps you just have to believe in it. And that belief doesn’t come cheap…
I appreciate it if my review is helpful.
